Wendy Kay's abilities became evident to her at a young age. Around the age of 4, she used to watch light shows made up of energy in her room at night before going to sleep. Clowns, bears and other circus acts would entertain her. She would draw pictures in the dark with her aura energy using her fingers. Her natural affinity for working with and understanding energies started at this time.

As she grew her abilities come out in other ways - she would often hear the thoughts of family members and she found she knew things without knowing how.
