Name of Show: Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel

Brief Description: This show is very informative and the host has a wonderful way of talking to the other side. His places he visits are abundant with ghosts. Some of these disembodied voices are so clear and have their own personality! I like this show because of the format. But what really draws me in is the fact that spirits are all around us.

What It May Teach: What I take from it is this: whatever frame of mind you are in is how you will be in the afterlife, so choose to be happy!

Name of Show: Ghost Whisperer

Brief Description: Jennifer Love-Hewitt plays a newly married antique store owner who sees Earthbound Entities (those who have passed over but who are sticking around because they have unfinished business or don't know they are dead.

What It May Teach: Learn a little about Earthbound Entities and what kinds of things may prevent a person from passing into the light.

Name of Show: The Collector

Brief Description:A monk makes a deal with the devil and loses his soul. Instead of eternal suffering, this lost soul makes a proposition with the devil where he spends his time trying to save those (through redemption) who also made deals.

What It May Teach: This is good example of how our actions or desires can affect others. Some get saved and some do not. It is also a good illustration of how a negative entity enjoys to see one suffer.

Name of Show: Psychic

Brief Description:Hosted by Sonia Fitzpatrick, a woman who is very adept at communicating with animals. Sonia travels from place to place speaking with animals and also helping with whatever problems they may have. She also conducts readings in a studio audience setting with people and their pets. The end of the show is usually dedicated to those who want to communicate with pets that have passed over.

What It May Teach: This show teaches you that animals are a lot more perceptive then most people give them credit for, how you yourself can communicate with your animals, and that they too are there waiting for us on the other side.

Name of Show: Dead Like Me

Brief Description:Comedy series about a girl who was killed by the toilet seat of the Mir space station as it broke up and crashed to earth. Instead of crossing over she becomes one of a team of grim reapers. Her job to free souls from their bodies just before they meet their death. Web Site

What It May Teach: All very light hearted but with an underlying message that there is no death.

Name of Show: Mysterious Ways

Brief Description:The main characters in this show are Declan, an anthropologist who investigates 'miraculous phenomena' and a psychiatrist, Peggy who is usually skeptical and scientific. The show portrays a variety of paranormal type events - one type per story, which Declan investigates to try to prove or disprove its existence.

What It May Teach: This show may teach us that there may be some positive elements about being skeptical of occurances, to a point. Also, that many of the occurances we hear of or experience are from spirit, the other side, or us as spirits transmitting our energies. ( Sarah Kelly)

This show teaches us to be more attentive to what happens to us and around us. It opens our minds to a variety of possibilities and interpretation of events. The thing I like most about this show is that it always ends with a bit of mystery. It is never totally resolved, so that you can make your own decision.(Joan Ross)

Name of Show: John Edwards

Brief Description: This show is about a medium John Edward who does readings from the Gallery (an audience) and sometimes special guests like well known personalities. John Edwards communicates with our deceased relatives and friends extremely well and accurate with great compassion and respect for both the living and thosed who have crossed over.

What It May Teach: Many of peoples circumstances on this show may relate to a situation you may be in or someone whom you know may be in. It is a valuable source of information for anybody interested in this area of knowledge.

Name of Show: Witchblade

Brief Description: An age old artifact that searches out its wearer, who must be female and strong enough. ie has enough common sense to be able to use it wisely.

Name of Show: Joan of Arcadia

Brief Description: This show is based on a teenager in school who sees and talks to God. God takes the form of ordinary human beings to talk to her. Sometimes, He's a He, sometimes She's a She, sometimes God is a young child, sometimes God is authoritative adult, and sometimes God is a punk teenager. It reflects how God experiences life through us all.

What It May Teach: The messages each week show how our mundane experiences here on "Earth" are truly spiritual! And the different forms God takes remind us, God is in us all - do not judge others by appearances, outer and through actions! It also teaches you need not fear God in how Joan, when she is frustrated, shares her frustrations honestly.

Name of Show: Medium - new show that just started

Brief Description: Based on a real person named Allison - a mother of 3 who is a strong clairvoyant. She clearly sees those who have passed on and gets information on crimes.

What It May Teach: Her talent is unusual as most people do not see or hear as clearly as she does but it does give excellent insight into how being a sensitive can affect your life - the challenges and the rewards.

Name of Show: The Dead Zone - in reruns

Brief Description: Based on a Stephen King novel. Johnny is in a car accident and falls into a coma for 6 years. When he awakens, he suddenly has the skill of psychometry - he touches things and gets information. He then takes action to change what he can.

What It May Teach: A good example of psychometry although his skill it to the extreme. Also shows how free will can be used to change the end result of situations if it is meant to be.

Name of Show: Tracker - in reruns

Brief Description: Adrian Paul plays an alien who looks human to capture 200 escaped prisoners that came to Earth from another planet.

What It May Teach: While I simply enjoy watching Adrian Paul, what I like about the show is how it demonstrates advanced energies and skills such as instant healing and time warp movement.

Name of Show: The Girl From Tomorrow - hard to find but if you ever see it is on be sure to watch it

Brief Description: A young girl named Alana travels back from the future to try to save her civilization. She befriends another young girl and together they time travel to try to change the event that caused the destruction of the future.

What It May Teach: Alana is a Healer at about 15 years old - highly experienced. She uses a headband that focuses energy through the forehead to heal and levitate things. When I first saw the show my whole body got the chills and it made me cry. I can only think that what she accomplished is in our future as well.
