Are You Are Channelling Light Beings? Learn the Signs...

When teaching people to channel messages from Guides, I've noticed this theme where some of you feel nervous about the idea of communicating with an Angel or masterful Being of Light. I think this fear stems from a feeling of thinking the Guide is "higher" than you. Maybe there is a hint of nervousness about being punished due to old religious programming. Perhaps there is some fear that once one opens up, that the "wrong" information will come through or that one will make a mistake. So as you can see there can be a variety of reasons for this emotion, but it's easy to overcome once you appreciate the nature of an authentic Being of Light.

The first thing to be aware of is to know the qualities of a true Angel or Master of Love. They are humble. Imperious, intimidating-sounding entities may not be a true Angel or Master of Love. Some general guidelines to go by:

- Beings of light don’t intimidate

- Beings of light don’t patronize you

- Beings of light make you feel safe, like you can be real

- They will laugh with you!

Expect true Masters to be incredibly humble, respectful, and empowering. They’re real. They’re nice...the kind of nice like the guy who works at the corner store and always smiles, making the best of the day. I once asked one of my Master Guides what he would do if he chose to appear physically onto the planet. He said that he would not want to stand in front of the press cameras and talk to the world. He said, "I’d want to wear overalls and work at a gas station." He explained that he would be able to spread more light that way, being unrecognized. True Beings of Light aren't looking for attention to themselves, but only want to be of true service to you.

Some more signs that a Being is not fully "light-filled":

- They talk about saving you or the Earth, rather than helping you through reflection and gentle guidance. Spirit just suggested this view represents a "superman complex": Expecting super-human entities to save the world. This encourages victimhood consciousness.

- They convince you that they are doing things to your body without your permission, "for your own good." Please, no. Beings of Light are always respectful and wait for permission to help you.

- Be careful and use discernment when someone who offers spiritual services seems to be all about about money. Yes, practitioners offering service deserve to be paid but notice whether it appears like the business comes first or the service to Spirit comes first. Notice whether an organization appears to be more about convincing you to take on their point of view, or whether it emphasizes individual empowerment.

Again, a "true helper" is about personal empowerment. Never feel like you should give up your own intuition and discernment in favor of somebody else's opinions. The emphasis in spiritual growth is not on gurus anymore, but on personal responsibility, discernment and togetherness. Receiving information from Light Beings is most purely about what comes from the heart.
