So, you have just had a psychic reading and were told some pretty wonderful things. The love partner of your dreams is just around the corner, a new job with advancement and more money is on the way and all your dreams are going to come true. It does sound wonderful doesn't it? But let's not forget that the psychic reading normally gives you the end result and NOT the path you will have to take to get to this end result.
What exactly does this mean? It means that certain events will have to take place before the good stuff arrives. Remember, it is a lot easier to read or hear about the life path you have chosen to live then it is to walk the path. Walking the path is the test, challenge or hurdle that gets you to the end result.
Imagine what would happen if you were told the actual path that you would have to take to get you to the end result. Imagine going for a psychic reading and you are told the following:
"In 6 months, you will leave your husband of 10 years. You will take your 3 children and live with a man with whom you fell hopelessly in love. You will move into an old farmhouse and start your lives together. Over a period of 6 years, you will move a total of 5 times. Your love interest won't be working for over two years. You will work cleaning houses to help bring in some money. During this time you will have to endure periods of intense emotion - mostly negative in nature. You will divorce your husband and fight for over 2 years to get custody of your children, without much support from family or from this wonderful man with whom you are living. You will have to learn to do things you have never done before. You may almost split with this new man several times because things will be so difficult. You and this man will have to go through several years of therapy where you resolve issues from childhood. It will feel like forever and you will wonder why you ever left your husband in the first place. Most of the time, you will feel numb and experience very little positive emotions."
Great reading! Of course, in reality your Guides are not going to tell you this. In reality, the reading will probably be something like this:
"You will meet a new man. He will be everything that your heart desires. You will have everything in life that you want with this new man. All your dreams will come true. Go forward. You are strong."
Quite a difference in wording. If your Guides were to tell you the first reading, the chances of you pursuing this path would be slim to nil. By telling you the end result, it gives you the courage and the strength to move towards the ultimate goal. The Guides will selectively tell you what you need to hear to get to the next step on your path. Along the way, they will give you encouragement and support. They will constantly remind you of the ultimate goal to give you strength. By the way, the second reading is what was given during an actual reading and the first reading is the path they had to walk to get them to the end result.
Now, not all readings have a path filled with so much challenge and difficulty. It depends on what you have come into physical to accomplish. The important point to remember is that if you are given a reading filled with wonderful predictions, it will most likely be the end result you are hearing and not the path you have to take to get to this end result. Walking the path will include things like:
- changing your attitude(s)
- taking action to make things happen
- showing trust and faith
- overcoming fears
- leaving behind old behaviour patterns
- learning to follow your heart
- ending or changing negative relationships
Getting a reading can be informative. It can give you a guideline for walking your path but it is you who must put one foot in front of the other to make your dreams become a reality.
