If you watch the game show Deal or No Deal, there is a particular episode that truly illustrates how those in Spirit send messages to us if you just watch for them. For those of you who are not familiar with the show, this is how it works...
There are 26 briefcases and each case contains an amount that varies from one cent to one million dollars. A contestant selects one case in the hopes that it contains the one million dollars. The contestant then opens one case at a time. Whatever amount is in the opened case is obviously not in the case the contestant selected. The goal of the contestant is to open cases with low money values.
At various intervals, a "Banker" offers to buy the case the contestant selected. The offer from the Banker can be quite high if the contestant has managed to open cases with low money values. If the cases opened are high money values, the Banker's offer will be lower. The goal of the Banker is to get the contestant to sell his case in the hopes that the amount it is sold for is less than the actual amount found in the case.
If the contestant takes the Banker's offer, the game is over. The Banker's offer increases if the contestant manages to open cases that have low money amounts in them and vice versa.
In this one game, a man was the contestant and his motivation for playing was based on the fact that his parents came to America with $750 in their pockets to make a better life for themselves and their family. He saw this as an opportunity to make a better life for his own family.
His parents were in the audience cheering him on. Case after case was knocked out until he was down to 3 cases left - the one he chose, and two that were left in play. The offer from the Banker was $211,000.00. Now this is the interesting part...the cases still in play were $750,000.00, $750.00 and $75.00. It was obvious that his focus and motivation of his parents coming over with $750.00 in their pockets was playing a major role in this game.
Rather than risk opening a case with $750,000.00 and having the Banker's offer plummet, the contestant chose to take the Banker's offer and went home with $211,000.00. This meant that the contestant's chosen case contained $75.00, $750.00 or $750,000.00.
Can you guess the amount that was in the contestant's case? His case contained $750.00! Out of the 26 cases, he picked the one case with the same amount of money that his parents had in their pockets to start their new life when they came to America.
Some would say this was an amazing coincidence but you know better. This was a significant message from those in Spirit. It is an excellent example of the control Spirit has over our lives... being able to ensure the case with $750.00 was chosen out of 26 possibilities and that the three cases left at the end were $750,000.00, $750.00 and $75.00.
Guides often send us messages in various forms to tell us they are watching over us. The Deal or No Deal message is very obvious but quite often, the messages from Spirit are not so obvious.
Messages may come in the form of a song, in the form of a television show, from something we see, from something we hear...in endless ways if we just look or it.
