 What's Your Secret Intuitive Gift?
by Wendy Kay
Do you have an intuitive gift that you keep a secret? An intuitive gift is a skill or ability that you have that tells you something about a person, place, thing or situation without any prior knowledge. It is a feeling that takes over your body when you either look at a person or thing or find yourself in a place or situation. This is something that you are right about or know about with complete accuracy (or at least 95% accuracy).
These gifts don't have to be unique, spiritual, mystical or deep - they only have to consistent and accurate. They may be for things that are insignificant and have no real influence on your life. The gift can be quite fun and can give you the inside scoop about people and things.
I have two secret intuitive gifts. The first one is that I can normally tell when someone is pregnant. Now, I don't mean 8 months pregnant…I mean weeks or a couple of months when a person is not showing any signs of it. When I see them I immediately say to myself "she's pregnant". I don't know why I know. I guess it is in the person's energy and I pick it up without trying. It just happens and I am usually correct.
The second intuitive gift that I have is that I know which actor in a commercial will "make it" in the business. When I watch a commercial, I can look at one of the actors and immediately know if he or she is going to do more commercials and be successful with an acting career. Again, it's probably in the energy.
One of my first experiences with this (although I did not recognize it at the time) happened when I was 19 years old. A group of us went to a comedy club in downtown Toronto called Yuk Yuks to celebrate my birthday. The comedian that was there was hilarious. He had a routine that actually made us cry because we were laughing so hard. I can't remember the exact routine now but it had to do with a Barbie and Ken doll that he called Kendini (play on Houdini). The faces this guy could do were spectacular. I left that night knowing this guy would go somewhere with his talents (although I'm not sure how much was intuition and how much was common sense).
A few days later, this same guy came into the Community Center where I was working at the time. He came up to the front counter with his friend and my co-worker (who was also a good friend of mine and had come to Yuk Yuks) turned to me and said, "There's the guy from the other night." She went up to the window and told him that we saw him the other night and we thought he was great. He smiled and said thanks and then a young Jim Carrey walked away with his friend.
The intuitive gift is a feeling or a knowing and not a sign or a dream. So pay attention to your body and the way it reacts to a connecting thought. When I see a commercial actor that will be a success I get a feeling that travels through my body and I hear my thoughts saying that this particular person will be successful. Then I receive confirmation as I watch the person become successful. This repetitive pattern made me realize that I had discovered my secret intuitive gift. My secret intuitive gifts don't help me in life in any way - they are just fun! However, knowing your gift and understand that special body feeling that comes over you can help you to strengthen and recognize your intuition to help you with other aspects of your life.

What is your secret intuitive gift?
I have two intiutive gifts as well. The first one is being able to read, upon immediately seeing someone, even as vague as passing them on the roadway in vehicles, whether or not that person will have a negative impact in my life or a positive one. I've had this since being two years old, and it has never failed me.
The second gift is being able to look at a photograph, even pictures in newspapers, on the news online, or where ever and I can see that
person has crossed, and is no longer physically with us in this reality. In His Joy,

I have the ability to enter another's point of view, feel their feelings
and see their thoughts. This allows me to advise them on how to find
inner harmony in a matter of minutes. I also do well at explaining
another person's point of view to their significant other." - Pennell
I just wanted to share with you two of my intuitive gifts. My first one is the ability to "read" people very quickly. I get a sense of who they are and their intentions upon first interacting with them. My second is being able to get to the heart of a matter that seems messy and/or convoluted on the surface. Both gifts have served me very well in this life and I find
them helpful on many levels. There are times, however, where they can be a royal pain in the rear! Those times usually involve situations that are out of my control where people are hell-bent on taking the most difficult/illogical path. While it's challenging to be an observer during such occasions, I learned the hard way that everyone is responsible for their own choices
in life and it's not up to me to change or influence them. Thanks for the opportunity to share!" - Christine
I have two intuitive gifts that really don't help me out in a spiritual way, but are very fun and often VERY informative.
The first gift was actually one of many events that lead into my becoming a tarot reader. I don't know how, but I always knew as a child
when someone was going to get "caught" doing something they weren't supposed to be doing. Due to a lack of knowledge about these things I
always said, "I have a baaad feeling about this." It didn't take long before everyone learned to stop what they were doing if I said that! A
common saying among my teenage friends was, "Who needs a radar detector with you around?" because I always knew when we were going to come up on
a police officer. My family and friends have turned this into a fun game during trips with me guessing how many police officers we will
pass, what side they will be on, whether they are moving or sitting still, and even what colors the cars will be ... =)
The second gift I have very little control over. It's actually a physical reaction that I have when someone says something that is correct. Although I'm sure I had experienced this gift many times before, it wasn't until a few years ago that I finally put two and two together and figured out what was going on. My family is heavy into drag racing. One of the things involved with drag racing is having to accurately predict what number to "dial in" before each trip down the track. I don't understand it completely, but this dial in has something to do with how quickly their car will go down the strip. My baby brother (who is one of my biggest psychic supporters ... at times he believes in my abilities even more than I do) had been doing a lot of work on his car which involved trying to make it go down the track faster. Because of this, he was having an especially hard time deciding what to "dial in". He told me he couldn't decide between two different sets of numbers and wanted me to tell him which he should do. When he said the second set of numbers, the hairs on my arm stood straight up and a cold chill ran down my spine. I KNEW the second set of numbers was the RIGHT set of numbers. After several tests of this gift, we were amazed at the accuracy! This same reaction occurs often and out of the blue. I now know that when it happens, whatever was said just before it occurred is the right choice or statement!" -Misty
my gift when I listen to it is I can tell if someone is trustworthy. I've been able to tell if someone has enter into a room that is 50x50 and my back is turned. I wouldn't get in an elevator with this man. The hair on the back of my neck would stand up if he came into a room I was in, whether or not I could see him. I Knew he was close. He never was rude, mean or anyway disrepectable. I've learned to listen to what my body is telling me. It hasn't steered me wrong (when I listened to it) - Kris
