Know Thy Soulmate
Part II

For the purpose of this article, you need to understand the definition of Soulmate. Your Soulmate or Soul Mate is a romantic partner - someone that you will spend time with and feel a connection to that transcends anything else you have ever experienced. Your relationship will touch your heart and change your life. Your Soulmate is someone who has agreed to be your partner prior to ever being born! You have spent many, many lifetimes with your Soulmate building an energy bond of love that is strong and filled with ancient memories that you don't remember but still feel.

One of the most asked questions by those of you searching for your Soulmate is, "When will I meet him or her?" This is a very easy question to answer...you will meet your Soulmate when it is time and not one moment before!

You cannot make the meeting with your Soulmate happen any faster. You can date hundreds of people, put out personal ads, go to parties, go to museums, talk to every person you meet and if it is not time to meet your Soulmate - it won't happen. You will meet a lot of people but just not the one you want to meet.

Contrary to making yourself readily available, you can also stay in the house, not go to events or try to make yourself invisible to others and if you have a Soulmate that you are meant to meet in this lifetime - again, it will happen and nothing you can do will prevent it from happening. Your Soulmate will come to you! Perhaps it will be in the form of a delivery that comes to your home. Perhaps it will be when you pop out to the store to pick up milk. Perhaps it will be through the most unusual circumstances but remember that the Higher Powers are good at making things happen that need to happen.

You can be guaranteed that when it is time, nothing will stop you from meeting your Soulmate.

Now, what can prevent you from meeting your Soulmate? Before you meet and become involved with your Soulmate, you need to understand that you have spiritual goals and lessons that you have to accomplish during this lifetime. Your Soulmate also has spiritual goals and lessons to accomplish during this lifetime. Some of those goals will be completed together and some of them will be completed while you are on your own. It is also normal to meet your Soulmate and then have to part to work on lessons and then meet again once those lessons have been learned.

It is normal to have karma to resolve with other people and many of those relationships may be romantic encounters. Having an intimate relationship with someone other than that of your Soulmate may be necessary because that is the only way you can resolve the karma and achieve your goals. So you can meet and have relationships with various others and still not meet the one. You may think or need to believe they are your Soulmate but usually there is a part of you that knows the truth. And it is only after you meet your real Soulmate that you understand the difference in the feelings associated with the real thing.

Take a moment and think back to those relationships in your life that you now know did not include your Soulmate. Did you get married but have doubts about it? How many of you got involved with someone but felt there was something not quite right about the relationship but you ignored those feelings? That feeling inside told you the person was not the one but you ignored that feeling. Usually, that is a warning sign that your relationship is karmic in nature and most likely will end up in divorce or there will be a parting of the ways. You may have been told it is normal to experience those doubts and it is just cold feet but that feeling is your intuition giving you important information. Whether you choose to follow those feelings is another story.

As a rule, you will never receive the exact time you will meet your Soulmate but you will be given hints so that you will recognize the encounter or the time period. You are not told when you will meet your Soulmate for a couple of very good reasons:

• If you won't be meeting your Soulmate for a very long time (years) it could make you very depressed knowing that and it would affect your life path negatively.
• You may not complete what needs to be completed because you would focus on the predicted meeting date and not focus on living life.

Getting hints about the meeting of your Soulmate can let you know what you need to know. In one reading I did for a client I saw that she when she met her Soulmate he would be holding a drink and playing with it and then he would look up and their eyes would meet and they would know. When she wrote me back, she told me she had already met her Soulmate and that, "When we first met, he was sitting at a table, beverage in hand...and our eyes met and POW, there it was." Knowing these events may not make waiting for your Soulmate any easier but it can give you understanding and the inner strength to keep believing and moving forward until you finally do meet.
