Do You See Spirit Lights?

Have you ever been lying in bed in a dark room just waiting for sleep to come when you saw a flicker of light somewhere in the room? It may have been a red flicker, or a white flicker or a blue flicker...it's not anything big, but rather a tiny light that gets your attention and makes you say to yourself, "What was that?" It's not scary, it's not something that makes you sit up and turn on the light. It's simply something that grabs your attention.

Normally, when something like that happens you are seeing a Spirit Guide or Spirit Teacher and that entity is letting you know that they are around you at that time. It is a soft and gentle communication with those in Spirit that is not meant to frighten or alarm you in any way but it is like a hand reaching out to you from the Other Side that is waving and saying "here I am" and "you are not alone".

You can practice seeing Spirit Lights by saying a prayer to a Higher Power Filled With Light and Love. Ask this power to send a messenger of Light to you so that they may show themselves as a Spirit Light to you so that you know you are not alone.

Once the prayer is said you can relax and look around the room and watch for the flicker of light. It can be quite small or sometimes it can be larger (depending on what you need). This is best done in the dark so doing this before going to sleep is ideal. You may or may not see a Spirit Light when you first try but don't give up. Those who are actively developing their abilities should definitely try this exercise.

Your Spirit Guides want you to know that they are there for you and that they are sharing your experiences - happy or sad - with you. They give you comfort when it is needed whether you know they are around and you can speak with them or not.

Simply knowing that you are not alone and that a Being of Light cares about what you are going through can bring much needed relief or comfort. Sometimes, nothing can help ease our pain except time. Guides can be our friends, our mentors, our teachers, our healers, our protectors and our inspiration. Strengthening that connection can only make life more peaceful, less stressful and give us hope when needed.

Oh, and remember...once your Guides know you are going to be looking for them as a Spirit Light, don't be surprised to see one when you are just sitting around watching television or going about your daily activities.
