Figure At The End of the Bed

When i was about fifteen, i was lying in bed unable to sleep as i opened my eyes i saw the outline of a figure at the bottom of my bed. At first i thought it was my mother but then i realised that it had no features, it was like a grey mass in the form of a human. I was surprised that i wasn't scared at all. In fact, i felt an overwhelming happiness and peace. Slowly the form began to rise over me and descend into my body , as it did i smiled and closed my eyes, very relaxed and not at all afraid i instantly slept still with that smile on my face. I still to this day (i am 39 now) don't have any explanation to what happened and have never heard of it happening to anyone else,but i feel it was a guiding spirit.
