The Stop Light

I typically am an aggressive driver, (I drive some days 100 miles for my business). Dashing in and out of traffic, speeding, and punching it from a changing red light, to meet deadlines.

I was stopped at a red-light yesterday, in the left turning lane. On a 3 lane street - 4 way light. Traffic was heavy and congested. A voice whispered to me "wait and watch" "just wait and watch" over and over....the light changed from red to green and I kept my attention directed to the left of me.

Just as the horns began to blow behind me ~ a semi, tractor trailer ran the red light from the center lane of oncoming traffic. It would have hit my (little sports) car, directly on the drivers - (t-bone sort of speaking) had I not listened to that voice.

I am absolutely, positively, without a doubt, sure I would not have survived that impact and would not be here right now.

There have been times when I have not listened to that voice, and have always been proven wrong ~ they are always right.

I am so very grateful to God, this time I did. God's hand and his angels were certainly protecting me this day, revealing his miracles and mercy, as everyday... I certainly have learned that will that soft, gentle voice speaks, I LISTEN.... :)

What a wonderful example of Spirit helping us. It certainly does pay to listen to the Inner Guidance and you obviously were not meant to be in an accident.
