A Bit About... Wendy Kay's abilities became evident to her at a young age. Around the age of 4, she used to watch light shows made up of energy in her room at night before going to sleep. Clowns, bears and other circus acts would entertain her. She would draw pictures in the dark with her aura energy using her fingers. Her natural affinity for working with and understanding energies started at this time. As she grew her abilities come out in other ways - she would often hear the thoughts of family members and she found she knew things without knowing how. She would sense entities that lived in the house where she grew up. Over the years she dabbled in the psychic realm (getting readings from others, reading metaphysical books etc.) and when she reached her early twenties she actively started developing her abilities through doing readings for others using cards and then she eventually did away with the cards and used only her psychic abilities which had become very strong. How Wendy Does Your Reading... "Over the years my style of doing readings for clients has changed as my abilities have changed. In "the old days" I used cards to help me get impressions and receive the information but as my vibration increased through meditation (using the method described in my courses) I found I no longer needed the cards. I always say a prayer before doing a reading for anyone. This ensures that the information that comes through is what the person needs to hear. In the prayer, I ask to be connected to my Spirit Guides, the Spirit Guides and Teachers of the person I am reading for and the Spirit Guides and Teachers of anyone else that might be involved in the reading (i.e. a soulmate, a child). Sometimes I will put on soothing music to help make the experience enjoyable and to filter out any other noises around the house. I then sit in front of the computer and relax. I connect with my Guides and usually say "hi" to them or anyone else that is around. I ask that any information that the client needs to hear come through. If the question is specific, I ask for a specific answer. My information comes through in various ways... by seeing pictures in Spirit (Clairvoyance), hearing what is being told to me (Clairaudience), feeling what the client or any other person/spirit feels (Clairsentience), intuition (knowing what is right) and channelling (writing down word for word what I am told). The information comes through in the manner that is needed to get the message. My strongest ability is being able to "get into" someone's energy and feel what he or she is feeling. I do this whether I am doing a reading or not. If someone is smiling and they are sad, I feel that the smile is just an illusion and know the truth. I have done that all of my life and let me tell you it can make living very confusing at times. Right now, I am doing my readings with Esmeralda. We enjoy this process. We both prepare as we normally do (prayers, music, relaxing) and then we start getting information. The Guides tend to split the information so I get something and while I am writing it down, Esmeralda will get something else. We end up getting information faster. Quite often, I will write down what is given and then Esmeralda will give me the same information! We laugh when this happens. We stop readings if we find we are both not getting anything. That usually means we have other things to do or are simply too tired to get the information. We no longer fight to get information. We just go with the flow and take a break and try again later. When the timing is right, the information just flows - no hassles, no stress."

I never do when tested.The last question however sparked my need to tell a little story. I went to Central America in November and was bitten by some kind of bug while in the rain forest.Since I came back, I have had some kind of viral and inner ear infection. It has put me "off balance" for over two months. The reason I am mentioning this is the last question in the quiz. Wendy I know it was you! I got the question wrong, but heard after "Oh she wouldn't do that!" Correct me if I am wrong. I too feel something siginicant has happened to me. I know I cannot do my job for much longer, as I am no longer able to give of my emotional self. One of the things that has happened is that I have had to focus on myself and dealing with my emotions. Wendy gave me a reading about self-love and I know it was totally true. I have been alone for two months and survived quite well other than having to ask for help at times. I tried to go back to work and asked that I not be hassled by the Occupational Health Department. I had a meeting with my boss and the nurse. My boss was late, so the nurse was dealing with someone else. I had asked for help from the Holy Spirit. She came into the room (which was spinning around) and I decided to be totally honest with her. She was extremely supportive (she had experienced this herself) and the nurse didn't say a word during the meeting. I knew I really had to help myself rather than try to please anyone. I know this illness was about self-love and not fearing my boss or what anyone else thought. My intuition has heightened immensely and I hear my guide and my father speaking to me. What I hear is validation of who is on the phone, what people are thinking,who sent me an email etc. Kind of mundane but important. It sounds trivial, but the answers are almost always correct even down to the time(within a few minutes). I am not totally well, but the voice even told me when the fluid would drain out of my right ear. Totally correct!! So Wendy you were totallly correct in hearing my quide yelling I needed to love myself. I spent Christmas and New Years alone and felt fine. I am not fond of the season and I got to ignore it all I am eating too much, but I know I will stop that. I had lost too much weight and needed to look better. I looked about ninety and walked like it too. So on some level, I know my life has transformed from this illness. I kind of thought I was crazy at first, being in the psychiatric field. One of the things I could not do was worry about my clients while I have been away. I realized that they really do make their own choices regardless of what I say. Kindness certainly helps, but I know it is really time for me to move on. Obviously I have to be Balanced, hopefully as god intended me to be. So Wendy I can relate to some of what you have been going through. When you are in the middle of something like this it feels like bad luck. I believe I have learned a very valuable lesson-doing what I need and want to do and not what I should do. Obviously I have to work, so I am hoping when I feel better I will be able to obtain work that is not as draining. Interesting word I just realized as my ear drained this past week. I donated some money, maybe not alot, but I had also donated some to another foundation prior to Christmas. I know my place is not to be down there volunteering. I have done that in the past.
