A Bit About... As a child Esmeralda was shown how important it was for her to stay alive so that she could eventually help others on their life paths. Growing up on one of the beautiful islands of the Azores strengthened her connection to nature and by surviving several life threatening events - she strengthened her connection to Spirit and the knowledge that she was meant to do something special with her life. At age 3 Esmeralda started to sleep walk. Imagine the horror her parents felt when they discovered that their precious daughter had walked out to the cliffs in the dead of night just barely missing falling hundreds of feet to her death. The Spirits intervened and guided her to a neighbor's house and to safety. Then at age 4 she was at a family gathering where everyone was enjoying the fresh fish from the seas and she started to choke on a fish bone. Esmeralda went out-of-body and watched as family Members held her down. They used a flashlight to try to see where the fish bone had lodged. They stuck their fingers down her throat to remove the invading bone. She did not feel any pain - she only observed the situation and began to understand the influence and protection of Spirit in her life. She felt the presence of Spirit surrounding her while this event took place - the warmth and comfort of their energy could not be ignored. At age 5 the village had one of their celebrations honouring the harvest where they shared their wealth of food with those less fortunate. As usual, there was a huge bonfire and a young boy - a friend of the family picked Esmeralda up and started swinging her around by her arms (a normal childhood play experience). Then he accidentally let her go and she was tossed her into the fire. The young teen said that suddenly it felt like there was grease on his hands and he lost all strength and could not hold onto her. Again, Esmeralda went out-of-body. Everyone thought she would have third-degree burns on at least 80% of her tiny frame. Someone pulled her from the fire and took her reddened body to the cattle trough, which was filled with water. To their amazement when they pulled her out they realized she did not have one burn or scratch on her. Again, the protection of Spirit was showing Esmeralda that she was meant to do something special with her life. And Esmeralda's abilities and spiritual knowledge was not something that was learned - it was a natural part of her Being. One night as she lay sleeping, she was awakened by a noise in her room - standing over her was a Being of Darkness that looked like the Devil. Fear gripped the young girl and she doesn't know why, but from deep within her came the knowledge that she needed to pray for protection to get rid of this evil entity (which she succeeded in doing). Spirit was already preparing her for a life where she would be contacting those who were no longer in physical. When Esmeralda "tunes-in" to get help for others, she taps into the natural fountain of ancient knowledge that is available to her. Spirit Guides and Teachers communicate important information to her so that she can help you to gain understanding of your path. She is a gifted psychic whose abilities began at a very young age and have only become stronger over the years. She believes intensely in the strength of a Higher Power Filled With Light And Love. How Esmeralda Does Your Reading... "I first start by making myself comfortable. This usually involves getting something to drink like green tea or water and then I settle into my "comfy" chair. I then take a few deep breaths and start by clearing my mind of everything. When I feel ready, I say a prayer and ask to be connected to the client's Spirit Guide or Guides. I normally hear the information for the most part - that seems to be one of my strongest skills. There are other times that I see and feel what is being given. There are times when I will use all my skills and there are times when only one will be used. I can't control it. It is the Guides that choose the method that they want to use - I'm just the Messenger (lol). When I do the readings with Wendy, we take turns typing the information. It's a lot of fun.
